It starts with me. One of the biggest challenges I have found in learning to love the world around me – and even learning to love God, the Ultimate, as the creator of that world – is that it all starts with loving myself. In so many ways that idea is counter-intuitive to the other-centered Christianity I grew up with. Discovering self – in body, soul, and spirit – and learning to allow body to love soul to love spirit to love body in an endless, upbuilding cycle and recognizing that the Spirit of Creator within me is the source and sustainer of the cycle, is how I am learning to love the world as Christ instructed.

I become the Love that is God.

That’s a crazy run-on sentence for a crazy run-on idea. But I believe it is grounded in the mystery of God as I have experienced God. And I can’t wait to experience and learn more.
